Yes, they will do inexpensive alterations as part of your buying the dress there but that’s because they make their profit on the dress. If you buy on line there is no such benefit for the shop owner! Bridal shop owners do need to make a profit to stay in business! That’s why you will often see the tags removed from dresses!
